The members of the Steering Committee are responsible for directing affiliated units to establish English clubs, striving from now until the third quarter of 2023 to establish 60 clubs. An English textbook is required to broadcast on FM radio for subjects, including taxi drivers. For large clubs, it is necessary to separate into small groups to ensure effectiveness... Focus on developing the English-speaking Khanh Hoa people's movement for those who directly serve tourists such as: staff at tourist spots and areas; Cyclist; small businesses in markets, commercial centers…
According to the report of Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union, as of April 27th, the Program has achieved some initial results: Building a website, Facebook fanpage, Tiktok, Youtube to promote and communicate for the Program, attracting attention of 4,875 interactions, 95,786 accesses to the contents; held the launching ceremony in the Nha Trang city, response ceremony in Cam Lam district; organize an exchange of “English speaking events” at public places once a month; recruited 350 professional and event volunteers for the Program. In addition, the provincial Department of Foreign Affairs has coordinated with the US Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to organize 2 online English training courses for officials, civil servants and public employees of Khanh Hoa province (in 2022) and continues to organize 3rd course in 2023. The provincial Department of Education and Training cooperated with the Provincial Youth Union and Vinschool to pilot the project "Improving English ability for Khanh Hoa students" to 11 schools in the Nha Trang city and Cam Lam district. Van Ninh district also organized English Festival, extracurricular activities for students, union members, youth and teachers; established a team to teach English for free, established 13 English clubs at commune level... Provincial Youth Union coordinated with VinUni and related units to establish 162 English clubs with 16,524 members; At the same time, piloting 19 English clubs for the following subjects: civil servants, public employees, businesses, students, small businesses, students...
