Four poles are: North Pole, South Pole, East Pole, and West Pole. One peak is: Fansipan peak of Hoang Lien Son mountain range, border with the two provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau. One T- junction is Indochina T- junction (near the border gate Bo Y, Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum province).
Particularly on the East Pole, this is a subject of much argument between the territory Mui Doi of Hon Gom peninsula, Van Thanh commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province and Mui Dien (Dai Lanh lighthouse) located in Phuoc Tan hamlet, Hoa Tam commune, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen province.
So far there is no formal written record the easternmost point. However, follow the Geography textbook 12th class – the 3rd reprint in 2011 of the Education Publishing House marked "East Pole at Van Thanh commune, Van Ninh district, Khanh Hoa province". At website: http://www.khanhhoa.gov.vn of Khanh Hoa province recorded "On the East borders the East Sea, the easternmost point: 109027'55’’ east longitude; at Hon Doi on Hon Gom peninsula, Van Ninh district is also the easternmost point on the mainland of The Socialist Republic of Vietnam”. Meanwhile, Phu Yen province builds stone stele at Mui Dien recorded "the easternmost point is the place to catch the first sunrise on the mainland of Vietnam, longitude 109°27'06 '' East, latitude 12°52'48" North”. Thus, in terms of geographical location, Mui Doi is the easternmost point on the mainland. And this is also the reason the youth who love backpacking tourism wish to discover East Pole of Mui Doi.
