Khanh Hoa Province is a coastal province in South Central of Vietnam. To the North, it borders on Phu Yen Province, to the Northern West, on Dak Lak and to the South West, on Lam Dong provinces, to the South, on Ninh Thuan Province and to the East, on East Sea. It has Hon Doi Cape on the Hon Gom Peninsula, Van Ninh District, as the East Pole on the mainland of the country.
Khanh Hoa's population (until 0h April 1st 2019) was 1.231.107 people in 32 nations living (Kinh, Raglai, Chinese, Ede, Co-ho, a small group of Tay, Nung, Muong, Thai, Cham, Khmer, and Tho ethnic...).

Natural area of Khanh Hoa, both on land and more than 200 islands offshore and archipelagos is 5.197 square kilometer. The coast is 385 km long with many bays, lagoons, bays, islands and huge territorial water. Specifically, Khanh Hoa has Truong Sa as its island district where has the main economic, security and defense position.
Khanh Hoa now includes two cities in the province (Nha Trang and Cam Ranh), one town (Ninh Hoa) and six districts (Van Ninh, Dien Khanh, Khanh Vinh and Khanh Son, Cam Lam and Truong Sa island district) with a total area of 5217.6 square kilometre.
Khanh Hoa Province is located in a convenient location for transportation by road, rail, sea and air. The economic and cultural exchanges between Khanh Hoa and other provinces has many advantages because of rail and 1A national Road throughout the length of the province
Geographical location of Khanh Hoa province has strategic significance in terms of defense, because it is close to international maritime routes, having Truong Sa island district, Cam Ranh Bay and as the gateway to the East Sea.

Khanh Hoa has a long coastline and 200 big and small islands with many beautiful bays as Van Phong, Nha Trang, Cam Ranh... with a mild climate, the average temperature 260 C, with over 300 days of sunshine a year and many cultural historical relics. Besides, Khanh Hoa also has diversify and abundant natural resources, particularly marine resources has many rare types of seafood which can be exploited, aquaculture, processed and exported in large quantities, having nest as special materials for export and preparation of nutritious and rare products for human.
The natural conditions, geographical location, cultural history brings to Khanh Hoa a great potential to develop tourism and services. Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa now has been identified as one of 10 tourism centers - the service of the country. In May 2003, Nha Trang Bay was recognized as an official member of the club of the world's most beautiful bays.
