This is one of the results evaluated at conference on summarizing Ethnic Affairs 2019, taking place on the afternoon of December 25th. Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa People's Committee attended.
In 2019, Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs has implemented many programs and policies to create jobs, help the poor and ethnic minorities to stabilize their lives. In particular, in collaboration with related departments and agencies organized 37 training courses, propaganda and training legal for 2,392 ethnic minorities; supporting 389 models of household economic production; supporting the installation of water pipes for nearly 200 households; building 6 traffic constructions into the production area, 1 in-field transport project ... with a total budget of over VND 22 billion. Collaborate with Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to support 1,393 ethnic minority households to borrow loans to replicate production with a total disbursement of more than VND 45 billion. Particularly with program 135, the Provincial Ethnic Committee has disbursed VND 26.44 billion from the provincial budget for extremely difficult communes and villages. Besides, the Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs has also implemented well policies for prestigious people in ethnic minorities; promote propaganda on reducing child marriage, inbreeding marriage; disseminating basic knowledge about cultivation and breeding techniques...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Huu Hoang praised the achievements in the implementation of ethnic affairs in 2019. At the same time, he suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs should continue to well implement the policies for ethnic minorities, especially policies on residential land, productive land, and running water for poor ethnic minority households; timely settlement of disputes, avoiding hot spots in the area; complete mechanisms and policies on socio-economic development in ethnic minority areas; strengthening propaganda, education, awareness raising for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas; guide production techniques, select and replicate effective production models suitable to local ethnic minorities ... Organizations and unions in the province, village heads and prestigious people should promote well their roles in solving problems for ethnic minorities.

On this occasion, the the Provincial Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs praised 20 prestigious people with outstanding achievements in 2019; awarding certificates of merit to 2 collectives and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movement of ethnic office in districts level in 2019.
