On the morning of October 26th, the provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Anex Vietnam Trade and Tourism Co., Ltd and Vietjet Air to hold a ceremony to welcome a flight from the Republic of Kazakhstan to Khanh Hoa. Attending were Mr. Yerlan Baizhanov - Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Vietnam; Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

Accordingly, more than 350 tourists from the Republic of Kazakhstan to Khanh Hoa on flight number VJ1862 of Vietjet Air took off from Almaty International Airport (Kazakhstan Republic) at 0:35 on October 26th to Cam Ranh International Airport at 9:45 am on the same day. After landing, visitors will stay and visit from 7 to 28 days at hotels and resorts in Khanh Hoa province and some other nearby localities. In addition, in order to receive and promptly handle security and safety related incidents for Kazakh tourists during this time, Anex Vietnam Tourism and Trading Co., Ltd. has set up a hotline to support Kazakh tourists with partners and provincial authorities.

It is known that this is the first direct flight connecting Almaty City with Khanh Hoa. Besides the flight mentioned above, from now until the end of April 2023, Vietjet Air and Anex Vietnam Tourism and Trading Co., Ltd will organize more direct flights to bring passengers from Almaty City to Khanh Hoa with a frequency of 2 flights/week, about 180-200 tourists/flight.
