Accordingly, in the period of 2017 - 2020, the Provincial Tourism Department is the focal point agency coordinating with other departments in the province to work with Vietnam Airlines for preferential policies and supported freight rates for transporting luggage of provincial delegations who carry out activities of trade, tourism and investment promotion of Khanh Hoa domestically and internationally; Researching and implementing policies to support new routes to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa and vice versa of Vietnam Airlines in the first phase of exploitation; setting up plan for development of tourist market to cooperate with Vietnam Airlines promoting and expanding the route; coordinating and assisting Vietnam Airlines in inviting and receiving domestic and international tourist delegations, Famtrip and Presstrip coming for surveying, exchanging, cooperating and participating in events held in Khanh Hoa; Coordinating and supporting Vietnam Airlines in organizing events; providing publication, introducing investment, tourism and trade potential of the province ...
Relevant departments, such as Department of Culture and Sports, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Industry and Trade, Van Phong Economic Zone Management Board and Department of Finance… are responsible for coordinating closely with the Department of Tourism and Vietnam Airlines to implement the contents as planned.
It is known that on October 18, 2017, Khanh Hoa People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines signed a cooperation agreement to promote investment - trade - tourism and promote advertising the image of the two sides. Currently, Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific are operating four routes connecting Khanh Hoa with major centers like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Vinh with the frequency of more than 100 flights / week.
