On the afternoon of July 16th, within the framework of the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, at the Bird's Nest Cultural Park (Bac Nha Trang ward), the Khanh Hoa Salanganes'Nest Company organized Khanh Hoa Salanganes'Nest Cusine Festival 2026. Attending the program were: Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province; Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province; Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments and agencies; and a large number of local people and tourists.

As one of the highlights of the Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2026, the festival offers locals and tourists a space to enjoy and experience the finest aspects of bird's nest cuisine. The highlight of the program is the "Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Culinary Excellence 2026" competition, expanded in scale for the first time, with 22 teams from leading 4-star and 5-star resorts and hotels in the province. Each team consists of three members. With the participation of professional chefs, the teams presented many outstanding culinary creations, contributing to improving the professional quality and reach of the competition. Panel of judges consists of leading culinary experts, artisans, and renowned master chefs from Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Within 90 minutes, each team prepared two dishes (one savory and one sweet) to serve four people. The main ingredient used was natural bird's nest from Khanh Hoa's bird's nest islands, combined with many rich and characteristic local products such as lobster, sea crab, shark fin, and sea grapes… At the “Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest Culinary Excellence Competition 2026”, the teams not only shows creative culinary art, honoring the essence of bird's nest, but also helps the audience appreciate the nutritional value of natural bird's nest from Khanh Hoa's bird's nest islands; thereby contributing to promoting the specialty and image of the "agarwood forest and bird's nest sea" region to a wide range of domestic and international tourists.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 special prize (30 million VND), 2 first prizes (20 million VND each), 3 second prizes (15 million VND each), 5 third prizes (10 million VND each), 5 consolation prizes, and 6 effort awards to the participating teams.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Salanganes'Nest Company awarded 10 "Great Solidarity" houses and 2 "Comrade" houses (each valued at 75 million VND) to disadvantaged families in the communes and wards of Tay Nha Trang, Suoi Hiep, Khanh Vinh, Nam Cam Ranh, Hoa Tri, and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command. Simultaneously, 20 scholarships (each worth 10 million VND) were awarded to underprivileged and studious students of Nha Trang University.

Within the framework of the event, Khanh Hoa Salanganes'Nest Company also organized an art photography exhibition on the bird's nest industry and displayed models of bird's nest caves and harvesting practices at the Ancestral Temple of the bird's nest industry. With the theme "The Quintessence of Salanganes'Nest Industry," the exhibition showcases 90 photographic works, vividly depicting the history, cultural values, and the profession of harvesting and preserving swiftlet resources in Khanh Hoa over many generations.
