On the morning of April
26th (i.e the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month), the Hung Kings Commemoration
Ceremony 2026 was held at the Hung Kings Temple historical site (173 Ngo Gia Tu
Street, Nha Trang Ward). Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Lam Dong - Deputy
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial
People's Council of Khanh Hoa; Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha - Deputy Secretary of the
Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front
Committee of Khanh Hoa Province; Mr. Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Standing
Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the
Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council,
People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of
departments, agencies, organizations, and localities in the province;
representatives of the armed forces, schools, overseas Vietnamese; the Phu Tho
Provincial Hometown Association; and people from all walks of life and
tourists.

At the ceremony, in his
role as the chief officiant, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee, Nguyen Long Bien, delivered a speech recalling the legends
of the Hung Kings era, commemorating the merits of the Hung Kings who built the
Van Lang State, now Vietnam; and expressing gratitude and pride in the glorious
history of nation-building and national defense of generations of ancestors and
the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Standing Vice Chairman of
the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien emphasized that the Hung
Kings Commemoration Day is a major holiday for the entire Vietnamese nation; it
is a symbol of unique and profound cultural and spiritual values, reflecting
the spirit of great unity and the traditional moral principle of "drinking
water, remembering the source," to together create the strength of Vietnam
in the glorious process of nation-building and national defense.

ceremony.
Throughout its
construction and development, especially during the process of implementing the
reform, under the leadership of the Central Party Committee and the Government,
the Party Committee and people of Khanh Hoa have strived to overcome
difficulties, promoting dynamism and creatively applying the resolutions,
policies, and guidelines of the Party to local realities, leading Khanh Hoa to
advance in the reform process. Promoting revolutionary traditions and
inheriting the achievements already attained, the Party Committee and people of
Khanh Hoa province will accelerate development, successfully achieving the goal
of building the province into an economic and social center of the South
Central Coast region; and simultaneously fulfilling the objectives set out in
Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the construction and development of
Khanh Hoa province until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

On behalf of the
Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial
People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland
Front, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien expressed his wish that all the people – the
generations of descendants of King Hung would offer incense to express their
gratitude and send their wishes to their ancestors and the Hung Kings, praying
for peace and prosperity in the homeland, national security and well-being, and
for the people to be well-fed and happy.

The Hung Kings
Commemoration Ceremony was held solemnly with two rituals: offering incense in
remembrance and the traditional sacrificial ceremony. Immediately after the
opening ceremony, delegations from the Provincial Party Committee, the
Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial
Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; administrative agencies, localities,
armed forces, youth unions, schools, central agencies located in the province,
the Phu Tho Provincial Association of Compatriots, overseas Vietnamese, and a
large number of people in the province offered incense to commemorate the
merits of the Hung Kings and prayed for good fortune.
