On the afternoon of March 20th, the Khanh Hoa
Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center, in coordination with
Cam Ranh International Airport Joint Stock Company, Amega General Trading and
Tourism Company Limited, DHT Aviation Co.,Ltd and other relevant units at Cam
Ranh International Airport, organized the opening ceremony and welcomed the
first flight from Minsk (Belarus) to Khanh Hoa operated by Belavia Belarusian
Airlines. Attending
the welcoming ceremony were: Mr. Uladzimir Baravikou - Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Vietnam; Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha -
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam
Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Vice Chairman
of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Radzisheuskaya Katsiaryna -
representative of the leadership of Belavia Belarusian Airlines and leaders of
departments, agencies and localities.

From March 20th, Belavia Belarusian Airlines
will operate the Minsk - Khanh Hoa route using wide-body Airbus A330-200
aircraft with a capacity of 281 seats, with a frequency of 3 flights per week.
The direct Minsk - Cam Ranh route is a concrete result of high-level agreements
between General Secretary To Lam and Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko
in May 2025. This direct connection not only shortens the geographical distance
by more than 11 hours of flight time without layovers but also opens up
opportunities for a strong breakthrough in the tourism industry.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr.
Uladzimir Baravikou, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the
Republic of Belarus to Vietnam, affirmed that this was a necessary step after the
success of charter flights to Phu Quoc at the end of 2025. He emphasized that
Nha Trang will be an ideal transit point for Belarusian tourists to explore
Vietnam thanks to its convenient domestic flight network. This route is a
practical tool to promote bilateral economic cooperation, while expanding
exchanges in the fields of culture, tourism, science, education, and
people-to-people exchanges between the two countries. The interest of
Belarusian and Vietnamese tourists in new destinations is increasing.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ha emphasized that the
inauguration of the Minsk - Cam Ranh route by Belavia Belarusian Airlines is a
significant event, marking a new stage in the cooperative relationship between
Khanh Hoa and its Belarusian partners, especially in the fields of tourism and
international air connectivity. The Vice Chairman also pledged that Khanh Hoa
will continue to create the most favorable conditions, improve service quality,
and ensure security so that the Minsk - Khanh Hoa route remains stable and becomes
an effective bridge for people-to-people exchanges and economic cooperation
between the two countries.

Belarusian tourists enthusiastically explore
Khanh Hoa's tourism.
Flight B2795 of Belavia Belarusian Airlines using
an Airbus A330-200 carrying 272 passengers, landed at Cam Ranh International
Airport at 3:30 PM. The flight was welcomed with a solemn water cannon salute.
Passengers on board are presented flowers and souvenirs, further reinforcing
the image of Khanh Hoa as a friendly and hospitable province.
According to statistics, the number of
Belarusian tourists visiting Khanh Hoa is recovering strongly. In 2024, the
province welcomed over 3,200 Belarusian tourists. In 2025, this number is
expected to increase to nearly 8,900, equivalent to a growth rate of
approximately 173%. In the first two months of 2026 alone, the number of
Belarusian tourists to Khanh Hoa has already reached over 2,100.
