On the morning of June 8th 2025, in Nha Trang City, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee had a meeting with Mr. Takashi Nakamoto - Chairman of the Hiroshima Provincial Council (Japan).

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan was pleased to welcome Mr. Takashi Nakamoto to Khanh Hoa to attend the Sea Tourism - Culture Festival 2025 and thanked the Chairman of the Hiroshima Provincial Council for his good feelings as well as his coordination and support in promoting the cooperative relationship between Khanh Hoa and Hiroshima provinces in the past time. According to the Central Government's policy, Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces will merge into the new Khanh Hoa province. This combination will create favorable conditions for the development of key economic sectors such as: High-tech industry; renewable energy; high-quality tourism, etc. Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan hopes to continue to receive the attention and support of Mr. Takashi Nakamoto in the cooperation activities between Khanh Hoa province and Hiroshima province in the fields of economy, education, health, tourism, etc. Especially paying attention, creating conditions, and supporting scholarships for high school students of Khanh Hoa province to study at schools in Hiroshima province; continuing to exchange and cooperate in training through training courses, fostering, and coaching to develop qualified and highly skilled human resources in the fields of health and nuclear power; strengthening the implementation of promotion activities, attracting investment in the field of tourism between the two localities. Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan also said that from now until the end of 2025, Khanh Hoa province will organize two working delegations to Hiroshima province to specifically implement the contents of the memorandum of cooperation between Khanh Hoa province and Hiroshima province signed in June 2024.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Takashi Nakamoto said that this is the fourth time he has came to Khanh Hoa province to visit, work and discuss contents related to the implementation of the memorandum of cooperation signed between the two provinces. Thereby demonstrating the increasingly close, practical and strong relationship between the governments and people of the two sides. Mr. Takashi Nakamoto emphasized that one of the solutions to promote the increasingly strong relationship between Khanh Hoa province and Hiroshima province is to send delegations of the two localities to work on each specific content. In addition, Mr. Takashi Nakamoto also pledged to pay special attention to promoting the cooperative relationship between Khanh Hoa province and Hiroshima province to gradually improve and achieve many good results.
