On the afternoon of
February 6th, Khanh Hoa provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to
announce the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Development Strategy for the period
2026-2030, with a vision to 2045, after it was approved by the Standing Committee
of the Provincial Party Committee. Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Nghiem Xuan
Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam,
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Phong, Member of the
Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the
Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa
province.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha, Deputy
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland
Front Committee of the province; Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Standing
Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Committee of the
Provincial Party Committee; representatives of Vingroup Corporation and
Simon-Kucher Company; and representatives of leaders from departments,
agencies, localities, and tourism businesses in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Long Bien
- Standing Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced
the Decision.
At the ceremony, Mr.
Nguyen Long Bien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party
Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee,
announced the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee on the promulgation
of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Development Strategy for the period
2026-2030, with a vision to 2045.
According to the
Strategy, by 2030, Khanh Hoa strives to become an international marine tourism
and service center, ranking among the top 5 localities nationwide in tourism
development; gradually affirming its position as a typical destination in
Southeast Asia with a clear brand and a synchronized tourism ecosystem.
Some key indicators include: approximately
100,000 tourist accommodation rooms (of which 75% meet 3 to 5-star standards);
total revenue from tourism reaching approximately US$9 billion, contributing
20% to GRDP; welcoming 33 million overnight visitors, of which international
tourists account for 40% to 45%; average length of stay reaching 4-5 days; creating
jobs for over 300,000 workers.
By 2045, Khanh Hoa
tourism is oriented to become one of the leading coastal tourism destinations
in Asia, developing high value-added products and services, contributing to
increasing the proportion of the service sector in the province's economic
structure.

Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong receives the Khanh Hoa Provincial
Tourism Development Strategy for the period 2026-2030, with a vision to 2045,
from the consulting unit in the presence of provincial leaders and
representatives of Vingroup Corporation.
The strategy identifies 6
key strategic orientations, including: developing the destination's position;
building a tourism brand; enhancing connectivity; Enhancing
the tourist experience; ensuring financial resources; and strengthening smart
governance. Based on this, 36 specific tasks and solutions have been proposed
to improve institutions, develop infrastructure, diversify products, promote
digital transformation and green transformation, and enhance the quality of
human resources.
The Provincial People's
Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside
over and coordinate with other departments, agencies, and localities in organizing
the implementation of the Strategy; developing a specific action plan;
monitoring, evaluating, and promptly advising on adjustments to suit practical
requirements, ensuring the Strategy is implemented uniformly, effectively, and
sustainably…
