On the afternoon of
February 5th, Mr. Sadykov Timur Sirozhevich, Consul General of the Russian Federation
in Ho Chi Minh City visited and wished Happy New Year to the leaders,
officials, and people of Khanh Hoa province. Welcoming the delegation were Mr.
Lam Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of
the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Vice Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of various departments and agencies.
The Deputy Secretary
of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's
Council, Mr. Lam Dong shared with Mr. Sadykov Timur Sirozhevich about the
development orientation of Khanh Hoa Province.
During the meeting, the
Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the
Provincial People's Council, Mr. Lam Dong expressed his appreciation and
gratitude to Mr. Sadykov Timur Sirozhevich for visiting and sending New Year
greetings to the leaders, officials, and people of the province; he also
informed the delegation about the success of the 14th National Congress of the
Communist Party of Vietnam with the outstanding results in the socio-economic
development of the province in 2025. He
stated that Khanh Hoa province is striving to soon become a centrally-governed
city, a national maritime economic center; aiming for high economic growth,
increased budget revenue, and improved people's income. Therefore, in the
coming time, the province hopes to continue receiving the attention and support
of the Consul General to connect and implement cooperation activities with
Saint Petersburg (Russian Federation) in the fields of economics, science and
technology, culture, society, education, etc. The
Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City continues to
facilitate Russian businesses and investors in exploring cooperation and
investment opportunities in Khanh Hoa in potential sectors such as: energy
industry, renewable energy, high-tech industry, logistics centers, seaports,
and high-quality human resource training; strengthening the introduction and
promotion of the province's potential, strengths, tourist destinations,
development orientations, and investment opportunities to the Russian business
community; developing more commercial flight routes connecting localities in
the Russian Federation and expanding the Russian tourist market to Khanh Hoa.

Sirozhevich highly appreciated the potential, advantages, and achievements in
socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa over the past year; emphasizing that
Khanh Hoa is a locality with a very strong cooperative relationship with
Russia. The
Consul General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City expressed his hope
that in the future, Khanh Hoa province would continue to cooperate effectively
with Russian agencies in implementing socio-economic development cooperation
programs between the two sides; and create favorable conditions for Russian
citizens to visit and work in the province. On the occasion of the Lunar New
Year 2026, Mr. Sadykov Timur Sirozhevich wished the leaders, officials, and
people of Khanh Hoa province good health, happiness, and many new achievements.
