On the afternoon of July 8, in Nha Trang, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee organized the Halal Economy Forum: Trade and Investment Promotion between Khanh Hoa Province and Halal market partners. This event was held within the framework of the Vietnam Halal Tourism Conference 2026. Attendees included Mr. Nguyen Long Bien- Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee with representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives from embassies, international organizations, Halal associations, experts, and domestic and foreign enterprises; as well as delegates from various localities and Halal market partners.

At the forum, delegates presented speech addressing key topics such as the potential to elevate Vietnam’s agricultural and seafood sectors for the global Halal market; export challenges and solutions; Halal certification standards; and trends and opportunities regarding markets, culture, standards, and supply chain technologies. Notably, the forum highlighted Khanh Hoa’s potential, advantages, development strategies, and priority investment projects, while proposing various solutions to foster connections between the locality and investors.
According to Mr. Nguyen Long Bien, Khanh Hoa possesses the necessary conditions to establish a comprehensive Halal ecosystem, aiming to become an international coastal tourism center and an attractive Halal destination within Vietnam and the region. This conference marks a significant starting point in the process of building the locality's Halal ecosystem.
Khanh Hoa Province is committed to continuing its collaboration with central ministries and agencies, international organizations, associations, businesses, and investors to foster the development of the Halal ecosystem; strengthen market connectivity and promote trade, investment, and tourism; and enhance the capacity to supply products and services meeting international Halal standards, thereby helping to position Khanh Hoa as an attractive destination for tourists and investors from Halal markets.
