On the afternoon of July 6, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien-Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to review preparations for hosting the Miss Cosmo 2026. Attendees included leaders from provincial departments, agencies, local authorities, and business representatives.

At the meeting, a representative from the organizing unit (Saigon Universe Corporation) presented the plan to host the Miss Cosmo 2026 Grand Final in Khanh Hoa province, tentatively scheduled for December 2026 through January 2027. The finale phase will feature two key events: the Semi-final and the Grand Final. The competition is expected to attract 90 contestants from countries around the world. Hosting Miss Cosmo 2026 in Khanh Hoa aims to further elevate the event's international influence and spread the message of "IMPACTFUL BEAUTY."

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, hosting Miss Cosmo 2026 will serve as a highlight to kick off the tourism year 2027, boost event-based tourism, and attract both domestic and international visitors to Khanh Hoa in early spring. The organizers have committed to utilizing socialized funding while coordinating with relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to develop comprehensive plans covering security and public order, fire safety, medical services, and environmental sanitation, ensuring all organizational requirements are met in accordance with regulations.

Concluding the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien approved the plan to host the Miss Cosmo 2026 in Khanh Hoa. He tasked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinating with Saigon Universe Corporation to further refine the proposal and organizational plans. The Permanent Vice Chairman emphasized that the Miss Cosmo 2026 Competition as an opportunity to promote the image, culture, people, and tourism of Khanh Hoa, while creating a highlight to kick off the province's cultural and tourism activities for 2027.
