The People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province has just issued a decision to issue a Plan to promote investment, trade and tourism in the remaining months of 2025.

The goal of the Plan is to strive for Khanh Hoa to become a centrally-governed city by 2030; with a vision to become a smart, sustainable city with its own identity, on par with the Asian region by 2045; is a model of linking socio-economic development with ensuring national defense and security; is a livable city, where people have a high standard of living, are peaceful and happy. Focus on removing bottlenecks in mechanisms and policies; speed up the progress of key infrastructure projects, creating momentum for growth. Improve the quality and effectiveness of investment, trade and tourism promotion; promote the potential, strengths and preferential policies of the province; Attract investment in areas that are consistent with the development orientation and advantages of the province. Strengthen tourism promotion and advertising associated with improving service quality, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals for the period 2020 - 2025.
Orientation for the remaining months of 2025
According to the Plan, investment, trade and tourism promotion activities in the remaining months of 2025 need to closely follow the following orientations:
1- Linking investment, trade and tourism promotion with the planning and socio-economic development plan, industry and sectoral sectors of the province; diversifying forms, improving efficiency, avoiding formalities and dispersion; attracting investment selectively, suitable for the new context. Focusing on attracting investment in infrastructure, especially in advantageous fields such as renewable energy, transmission infrastructure, storage technology; high-tech agriculture; processing and manufacturing industry; sustainable, high-quality, experiential tourism, marine economy and urban areas.
2- Promoting the advantage of being the National Energy Center, building Khanh Hoa into a clean energy center, green industry - NetZero, industrial services, semiconductor chip manufacturing, artificial intelligence (AI), national and international data centers. Proactively research the market, investment trends and potential partners; prioritize inter-sectoral and inter-regional investment promotion; strengthen on-site promotion, dialogue, remove difficulties for businesses, speed up the progress of projects with investment policies.
3- Attracting FDI selectively, prioritizing high-tech, advanced, green, high value-added projects, modern management, connecting with domestic enterprises and global supply chains, ensuring sustainable development. Promote green growth associated with digital transformation, circular economy; prioritize new industries such as semiconductors, hydrogen, innovation; strengthen FDI - domestic linkages to create spreading value.
4- Innovating trade promotion methods combining tradition with information technology application, digital transformation; enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises in the global value chain
5- Strengthening tourism business linkages, developing a professional and friendly business environment; coordinating between regions and localities to form high-quality tourism value chains. Mobilizing investment resources for tourism development, focusing on planned areas and points, connecting infrastructure and specific products; speeding up the progress of key tourism programs, projects and proposals.
Main tasks
With the above objectives and orientations, the Plan sets out the main tasks that need to be implemented, including: Pushing the promotion of the investment environment through conferences, seminars, live and online discussions; using digital platforms, websites (bilingual Vietnamese - English), Zalo OA,... to carry out communications, introduce potentials, advantages, preferential policies, and publicize the List of projects calling for investment. Strengthening international connections, coordinating with Vietnamese diplomatic representative agencies in key markets (Japan, Korea, China, India, Singapore, UAE, USA...) and the Halal community to introduce and invite investors to learn about and cooperate with the province.
Organize delegations to participate in market survey and connection activities; connect provincial enterprises with local enterprises. Promote the application of digital technology in tourism promotion and communication: produce video clips promoting nature, relics, culture, cuisine, and people of Khanh Hoa in languages: English, Russian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese, etc.; promote tourism on digital platforms: Zalo, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, etc.; update information on electronic information portals, websites, and smart tourism applications; install QR codes at destinations to provide information quickly and conveniently.
Compile and publish tourism publications: handbooks, maps, introduction books, tours, tourist areas - destinations, festivals, cuisine in languages: English, Russian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese... Coordinate with press and media agencies to widely promote the image of Khanh Hoa tourism at home and abroad. Maintain connections with the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and localities to share and support tourism information. Organize training courses, improve tourism promotion skills for tour guides, tourism staff, travel businesses, destinations; consult and connect tourism businesses inside and outside the province, promote cooperation in developing tourism products and services...
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to be the presiding agency, coordinating with relevant units to organize the implementation of the province's Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Plan for the last months of 2025. The Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board coordinates with the Department of Finance and the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to review and edit documents and videos serving the promotion and investment calling work at conferences and seminars in the assigned fields of management and implementation.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism presides over and coordinates with press agencies to continue to carry out propaganda content about the potential, strengths, and investment and business environment of Khanh Hoa province after the merger. Coordinate with the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, relevant agencies and units to provide information on programs and investment promotion activities of Khanh Hoa province in the last months of 2025 to press agencies in the province. Khanh Hoa Newspaper and Radio and Television regularly produce news articles, reports, promotional films, images, investment environment, investment attraction orientation, new policies of the province on Newspapers, KTV, etc.
