Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a guiding document on the implementation of Directive No. 25-CT/TU dated on March 2, 2020 of the Provincial Standing Committee on ethnic affairs in the new situation.

Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee requires departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue promoting propaganda to raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, officials and the people on ethnic affairs; especially in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; checking and improving mechanisms and policies related to ethnic minorities; towards sustainable development goals based on promoting the region's advantages and potentials, the support and concern of the State and the self-reliance spirit of the ethnic minorities; improving the competence, effectiveness and efficiency of state management on ethnic affairs and implementation of ethnic policies.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Ethnic Committee to lead and coordinate with other departments and agencies according to the functions and tasks assigned to effectively deploy this work.
Particularly People's Committees of districts, towns and cities should continue to well perform the work of state management of ethnic affairs; at the same time directing the integration of resources for the effective implementation of investment programs and policies, supporting ethnic minorities in the locality; mobilizing all resources to ensure stability and development, taking advantages of the central and provincial investment capital, speeding up the socialization of conditional sectors in order to mobilize the maximum of social capital resources invested for Socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Leading and checking land use planning, focusing on handling the shortage of production land, residential land, houses and running water for ethnic minorities; granting certificates of land use right to households after receiving land, strengthening the management of land use in the locality; promoting the application of scientific and technological advances in socio-economic development; accelerating the progress of new rural construction; maintaining political security and social order and safety; improving and raising the material and spiritual life for people; well implementing the preservation and promotion of good cultural values of the ethnic groups in the area; collaborating with the Department of Information and Communications to create favorable conditions for telecommunications businesses to invest and upgrade telecommunication network infrastructure, Internet and base transceiver stations for ethnic minority and mountainous areas and extremely difficult areas ...
