Signing ceremony to improve the quality of tours on Nha Trang Bay

On the afternoon of February 20^th 2019, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association held a signing ceremony to improve quality of tourism program on Nha Trang Bay (island tours) between 10 tour operators.

Representatives of businesses are committed to improve the quality of island tours.

At the ceremony, businesses discussed and unified the coordination program to improve the quality of island tours with specific contents such as selling the right price of tours, not selling promotions under in any way, do not reduce the price of groups or individual travelers to buy tour directly at the port; New price list will apply from March 1^st 2019. Establishing the Supervisory Board to implement the commitment include 4 members. Representatives of businesses will meet every two weeks to inform and promptly remove difficulties in the process of implementing commitments. Penalty for breaking commitments: 1st violation is VND 3 million/enterprise; 2^nd violation is 10 million VND/enterprise and inform on the media, travel businesses across the country...

It is known that the average daily tour of the island attracts about 500-1,500 visitors. Until the end of November 2018, businesses sell island tours at a price of 80,000 VND/person - 250,000 VND/person. This makes the quality of this tour unsecured, affecting the tourism brand Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa.

* Tour price list applies from March 1^st 2019:

Travel by wooden boat not including entrance fee is 250,000 VND/person (the selling price for agent is 200,000 VND/ person);

- Travel by canoe include sightseeing fee is 450,000 VND/ person (the selling price for agent is 350,000 VND/person);

- Tour price for wooden boat and diving tours is 750,000 VND/person (agent price is 600,000 VND/person);

- Tour price travel by wooden boat and sea walking is 1.05 million VND/person (agent price 900,000 VND / person);

- Canoe and diving tours cost 950,000 VND / person (agent price VND 750,000 / person);

- Canoe tour and sea walking is 1.25 million VND / person (agent price is 1.05 million VND / person).
