At the seminar, the delegates discussed and exchanged issues on: Actual situation of tourism; difficulties of tourism and airlines businesses due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic. Introducing the model of connection, cooperation and tourism development deployed by Ho Chi Minh City and many other localities in recent years; solutions to pick up passengers by charter flights on a "closed route"; plans on organizing tourism programs suitable for each tourist market, ensuring safety for epidemic prevention and control in association with quality assurance and service prices, especially services that can be met the need to welcome visitors in the form of a "closed bubble" tour, a "one road, two destinations" tour; Links between major tourist centers of the country to take tourists on tours according to the "safe tour" tour program…
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Le Huu Hoang said that over the past time, Khanh Hoa has paid attention to and created favorable conditions for tourism businesses to easily access the Government's support policies to restore the tourism system, ensure quality services ready to welcome and serve visitors; develop a plan and implement to welcome domestic tourists in association with effective and flexible control and prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic; promulgate a set of criteria for assessing safety in epidemic prevention and control for the operation of business establishments in the tourism sector under the motto "guaranteeing prices, service quality and ensuring safety for tourists, safety for the residential community”; promote promotion and attract tourists through the operation of the digital communication system (facebook, youtube...), contribute to promoting the image of Khanh Hoa tourism as a safe and friendly destination… In addition, the province has also developed a pilot plan to welcome international tourists with "vaccine passports" by charter flights and is submitting to the Prime Minister for opinions. Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his wish that, in the coming time, governments at all levels and tourism businesses across the country will link and coordinate more closely to create unity in effective implementation of programs to recover and develop the tourism industry more quickly and sustainably.

Particularly in Khanh Hoa, in the first 9 months of 2021, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the province's tourism revenue decreased by 44.5% compared to the same period in 2020; staying guests decreased by 46.3% with the number of days of visitors decreased by 57.8% (in which, international visitors decreased by 95.3%). Up to now, in the province, there are only 40/1,113 accommodation business establishments operating (mainly concentrated isolation facilities); there are 79/138 travel businesses still maintaining tourism activities; Many shopping and dining establishments that meet tourist standards are also temporarily closed…
