On the afternoon of September 22nd, in Nha Trang city, the The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), the Australian Consulate General in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee organized a program to promote Australian education and cuisine. The program is an initiative of Austrade to introduce Australia's educational, training and culinary capabilities and strengths to key economic regions of Vietnam. The program attracted the participation of 25 training institutions and 45 Australian food and beverage businesses with 2 main sessions: Education session introducing professional capacity in education and training of Australia's leading universities, colleges, while also providing cooperation opportunities for Vietnamese educational organizations in enrollment and training linking. The Agricultural Food Session showcases premium Australian products including dairy, seafood, packaged foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and wine. At this session, Vietnamese and Australian businesses will also have the opportunity to connect, exchange and directly discuss future trade cooperation opportunities.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Huu Hoang respectfully thanked the Australian Embassy in Vietnam and Austrade for proposing the initiative and accompanying the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to organize this very meaningful event. Through this event, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee continues to affirm its commitment to always accompany, encourage and create favorable conditions for businesses operating in the food sector; Australian and Vietnamese universities and colleges cooperate and invest; Strengthen exchange and further engagement in the following years, bringing strong economic progress, educational and training cooperation between Vietnam and Australia...
It is known that this is an activity in a series of events celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Australia, taking place in provinces and cities: Hanoi Capital, Hue City and Da Nang City; attract and connect more than 400 Vietnamese and Australian businesses.
