On the morning of February 17th, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with tourism businesses in the early of 2023. Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, agencies, and representatives of more than 200 tourism businesses and services related to tourism in the province.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Huu Hoang praised the efforts of the tourism industry in overcoming difficulties and recovering from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, he suggested that leaders of agencies and units need to pay attention to accompany and support businesses to overcome difficulties; advise the Provincial People's Committee to propose central ministries and branches to continue considering and promulgating mechanisms and policies to support tourism businesses; study the legal basis and methods to advise the Provincial People's Committee to implement the model of pedestrian street and night market; integrate the development of community tourism with the orientation of developing typical tourism products associated with the One Commune One Product Program, the National Target Program on building a new countryside, etc… The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also suggested that businesses need to be creative and agile in developing and implementing programs and plans to attract international visitors; applying information technology to innovate and increase efficiency in image promotion, brand and demand stimulus programs; have solutions to improve quality, refresh tourism products...
Also at the conference, the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association called on tourism businesses to study the orientation of the provincial planning and the content of Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo to focus on investment to build types and high-class tourism products of national, regional and international level; coordinate with the Association to implement effective stimulus programs, avoiding to reduce prices, but not ensuring service quality, affecting business reputation, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism brand...

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded certificates of merit to 7 collectives and 2 individuals who have made many contributions to the tourism development of Khanh Hoa province. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in coordinating the implementation of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Action Program in 2022; awarded certificates of merit to 11 collectives and 5 individuals who have made many contributions to the development of tourism in the province in 2022.

* Currently, in Khanh Hoa province, there are 1,169 tourist accommodation establishments with more than 55,530 rooms; 166 travel service businesses, including 34 domestic tour operators; 132 international travel agencies (104 tour operators, 26 branches and 2 representative offices). In 2022, the whole province welcomes about 2.57 million visitors, including nearly 300,000 international visitors. Tourism revenue is estimated at nearly 14 trillion dong, 250% higher than the plan and 5.8 times higher than in 2021.
* In 2023, Khanh Hoa tourism industry aims to welcome about 4 million tourists, including about 2.5 million domestic tourists and 1.5 million international visitors.
