On the morning of December 18th, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism in coordination with Cam Ranh International Airport organized a ceremony to welcome the 3.5 millionth international tourist and the 10 millionth tourist to Khanh Hoa in 2019. Mr. Nguyen Khac Dinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Party, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee with leaders of Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Airport Corporation of Vietnam attended.
The provincial leaders presented flowers and certificates to the 3.5 millionth international passenger and 10 millionth passenger via Cam Ranh International Airport in 2019.
The 3.5 millionth international visitor to Khanh Hoa is Ms Jung Yo Hee (South Korea) and the 10 millionth passenger via Cam Ranh International Airport in 2019 is Mr. Pham Duy Khiem (Vietnam). Both guests traveled on Vietjet's flight VJ837 from Incheon (South Korea) to Cam Ranh. As soon as arriving at the airport, the two guests were given flowers, gifts and certificates by the provincial leaders and representatives of Airport Corporation of Vietnam and Cam Ranh International Airport.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai praised the achievements of the provincial tourism sector and Cam Ranh International Airport in 2019. At the same time, he wishes that Khanh Hoa will continue to receive the support from Ministries, central agencies and businesses join hands to develop sustainable tourism of the province.

According to the provincial Department of Tourism, currently, there are 21 international airlines and 4 Vietnamese airlines operating 80 international routes to Cam Ranh International Airport, connecting Khanh Hoa with 8 countries and territories including: Russian Federation, China, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand. In addition, 4 Vietnamese airlines also operate 7 domestic routes connecting to Cam Ranh International Airport. In 2019, Cam Ranh International Airport served about 58,000 flights, with about 10 million passengers through the port (up 22% compared to 2018), including 6.44 million international passengers.
