Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee agreed that in October 2021, based on the epidemic situation in the province and the receiving capacity, Khanh Hoa province will allow to receive about 4 flights per week to bring Vietnamese citizens back home entering through Cam Ranh International Airport.
Citizens after returning home will be arranged for isolation at accommodation facilities far from residential areas (not stay the same place with the isolation of F1 citizens in the province). These isolation facilities must ensure that there are enough rooms for the isolation of all citizens on the same flight, creating favorable conditions for management in transportation, reception and perform isolation.
For Vietnamese citizens who have received 2 full doses of Covid-19 vaccine (the second dose is given after more than 14 days), they will undergo a 7-day concentrated medical isolation at the accommodation facility. For Vietnamese citizens who receive 2 doses of vaccine, Vietnamese citizens receive 1 dose of vaccine, Vietnamese citizens with Covid-19 have recovered within 6 months (with a hospital discharge certificate issued by a medical facility) will carry out a 14-day concentrated medical isolation at the accommodation facility.
Regarding organizations/enterprises wish to apply a flight to bring Vietnamese citizens home, besides legal requirements and registration procedures, the Provincial People's Committee requires businesses to commit to: Ensuring that citizens are tested for SARS -CoV-2 by Real time-PCR, negative results within 72 hours before the date of entry into Vietnam; pay the full cost of treatment in case citizens are infected and treated with Covid-19; to pay expenses incurred in case citizens have to undergo medical isolation more than prescribed due to contact with a positive case; collect the SARS-CoV-2 test fee during the isolation period and the cost of handling chemicals for Covid-19 prevention and control for a flight and medical isolation supervision; complete immigration procedures and medical isolation plan with the authorities of Khanh Hoa province at least 3 working days before the flight lands.
