On May 16th, Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association held its first congress, term 2023 - 2028. Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Ngoc Thanh - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; Le Huu Tho - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Propaganda Department of Provincial Party Committee attended.
At the Congress, the Organizing Committee announced Decision No. 1033/QD-UBND dated May 11th, 2023 of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association. Accordingly, the Association is a voluntary socio-professional organization of Khanh Hoa organizations and citizens who are operating or related to Khanh Hoa's culinary culture; with the task of preserving, honoring and developing culinary cultural values, promoting Khanh Hoa culinary culture to people and visitors… The congress also approved the operating charter and launched the Executive Committee including 21 members. Ms. Le Thi Hong Minh - General Director of Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu affirmed that the establishment of the Culinary Culture Association will contribute to building a sustainable Khanh Hoa culinary brand - which is one of the important factors to determining and affecting to the quality of the province's tourism industry. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hoped that the Culinary Culture Association would become a strong socio-professional organization, successfully completing the set tasks, making a positive contribution to the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province in the coming time.
