This year Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa open Orchid Competition takes place from May 20th to May 21st at Truong Son Craft Village, Nha Trang City. The contest attracted more than 200 entries from domestic artists competing in 6 categories including: Synthetic orchid, Hai orchid, wild orchid, Sword orchid, Dendrobium orchid, Cattleya orchid. Entries will be evaluated on four criteria: farming skills, flower color, flower shape, and number of flowers. As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 6 first prizes, 6 second prizes, 12 third prizes and 35 consolation prizes. In particular, the work number 65 of Hien Truoc Orchid Garden, Da Lat City excellently won the first prize in the category of synthetic orchids; The work number 164 of the author Phan Minh Chau, Nha Trang city excellently won the first prize in the category of sword orchids; The work number 84 of the Da Lat Urban Service Joint Stock Company excellently won the First Prize in the category of Hai Orchid; The work number 19 of the author Nguyen Phuc Hung, Ho Chi Minh City excellently won the first prize in the Dendrobium orchid category; 2 works bearing the serial number 74 and 76 of the author Tran Buu, Da Lat City excellently won the first prize in the category of Cattleya orchids and wild orchids.

Also within the framework of the contest, artisans, businesses and organizations inside and outside the province participated in displaying more than 300 works of orchids and bonsai of all kinds.
