Accordingly, in the period of 2021 - 2030, Khanh Hoa province strives to complete the following goals: Thoroughly handle 100% of hot spots and areas contaminated with toxic chemicals/dioxins after the war in the province. By 2025, over 85% of the risk of exposure to toxic chemicals/dioxins from hot spots and polluted areas will be controlled; 100% by 2030 in order not to increase the number of victims in these areas. By 2025, over 90% of victims will be identified; by 2030, complete identification of victims across generations, fully meet the conditions as prescribed; victims are entitled to regimes and policies of the state to improve their quality of life, create favorable conditions for suitable jobs, overcome difficulties, and integrate into the community. Ensure 100% of pregnant women in heavily polluted areas; 100% of victims receive pregnancy management, fertility counseling to reduce the risk of increasing victims in the next generations…
To accomplish the above goals, Khanh Hoa province will implement the following tasks and solutions: Review, build and complete legal documents, regulations, standards on repair consequences of toxic chemicals/dioxins; promote propaganda to raise awareness, awareness and responsibility of all levels and sectors to strongly promote the remedial work of toxic chemicals/dioxins. Organize the implementation of appropriate and effective measures to control the risks of exposure to toxic chemicals/dioxins to humans and the environment; regularly organize the well implementation of regimes and policies of the State in combination with programs, projects from capital mobilized from domestic and international organizations and individuals, ensuring all the victims have improved, their quality of life has been improved, they have overcome difficulties, have been given favorable conditions for suitable jobs, have been integrated into the community, and have risen up in life; continue to strengthen international cooperation to attract the attention and support of countries and international organizations in ensuring financial resources, equipment, technology, staff training, and sharing experience to accelerate the remedial work of toxic chemicals/dioxins…
