This is one of the contents set out in the Ethnic Minority Development Plan of the Project "Vietnam Improved Land Governance and Database Project” (VILG) in Khanh Hoa province.

Accordingly, to ensure ethnic minorities receive maximum socio-economic benefits from the VILG, Khanh Hoa will set up a community advisory group in provincial level, community advisory group in district level will participate to collect information and feedback of minorities people on: Land demand; Factors of culture, customs and practices that need to be considered during the project implementation; propose solutions to overcome obstacles to ensure the outspread support of ethnic minorities to the Project ... In addition, the province will also implement other activities including: Designing a comprehensive communication strategy with modern equipment ensures that ethnic minorities can easily and conveniently access information; train and equip with knowledge and presentation skills for village leaders, hamlets, village elders, and reputable people to propagate and mobilize ethnic minorities to actively respond and participate in the effective implementation of project; Establishment of services to access land information and register land where ethnic minority groups live ...
The VILG project includes 3 components: Improving the quality of land service supply; building a land database and implementing multi-purpose national land information system; support project management (implemented in Ninh Hoa town and Dien Khanh district). The aim of the project is to improve the legal framework, to develop and operate a multi-purpose national land information system on existing land databases for manage land better but do not build any civil works, therefore, will not withdraw land; does not have any impact that limits the exploitation of natural resources. On the contrary, the project will bring many positive impacts to the residential community, specifically: Administrative procedures will be carried out on the Internet environment, thus reducing administrative time and increasing efficiency for land users; Improve administrative procedures for public services and household land users (because land information is shared, linked between notaries, law enforcement and tax authorities. ..); improving the business environment (investors can look up information about land lot status, contract procedures without coming to the location) ...
