At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan discussed with Mr. Ono Masuo about the socio-economic situation as well as the development orientation of the province in the coming time. At the same time, he said that after a period of research, leaders of Khanh Hoa province realized that Japan's Hiroshima province has many similarities with Khanh Hoa province. In November 2023, Khanh Hoa province will have a delegation to visit and work in Japan, including a meeting with the leaders of Hiroshima province and organize a Khanh Hoa Investment and Tourism Promotion Conference in Hiroshima Prefecture. Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan hopes that Mr. Ono Masuo will pay attention and notify Japanese businesses in Hiroshima province and neighboring provinces to attend the conference; Support and create favorable conditions for the working delegation of Khanh Hoa province when coming to Japan. Besides, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan also requested the Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City to support Khanh Hoa province in connecting, exchanging and cooperating with Japanese localities and businesses more effectively; promote tourism promotion activities to bring Japanese tourists to Khanh Hoa; enhance cultural and educational exchanges; connecting the Southeast Asia Youth train to the Nha Trang city…
Mr. Ono Masuo thanked the leaders of Khanh Hoa province for the warm welcome and said he was very impressed with the natural landscape and local infrastructure. Mr. Ono Masuo commented that Khanh Hoa is a locality where many Japanese investors and businesses come to explore business cooperation. Currently, the relationship between Vietnam - Japan in general and Khanh Hoa province in particular is developing well. Mr. Ono Masuo hopes that after Khanh Hoa province's business trip to Japan in November, the cooperative relationship between the two sides will become increasingly stronger.
