On the afternoon of June 1st, the working delegation led by Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee survey the position that sub-projects under project to build infrastructure adapt to climate change for ethnic minorities will be implemented (CRIEM Project) in Khanh Vinh district.
After surveying 2 investment sub-projects in Khanh Vinh district, including: Sub-project of Construction and upgrading inter-commune roads of Khanh Thanh - Lien Sang and Cau Ba - Khanh Nam; The embankment subproject of residential area along the Cau River, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu affirmed: The investment in the above subprojects is really necessary to improve the quality of life and develop the economy of the local minority people. Therefore, in the coming time, the Provincial People's Committee will hold a meeting to collect opinions from departments, branches and localities to make decisions on investment policy of sub-projects under the CRIEM project in Khanh Vinh district.

It is known that the CRIEM project has a total estimated investment of more than 895 billion Dong, of which, a loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is 690 billion Dong; counterpart capital of more than 205 billion Dong. It is expected that the project will be implemented from 2021 to 2025 with 3 components including: Component 1 - Upgrading transport infrastructure (there are 7 investment sub-projects in Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts and Cam Lam); component 2 - Improving infrastructure for production and general development (there are 4 sub-projects in Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh districts); Component 3 - Strengthening technologies and systems for infrastructure adapt to climate change. Particularly in Khanh Vinh district, there are 5 sub-projects (total estimated investment of about 462 billion Dong) including: Construction and upgrading of Khanh Thanh - Lien Sang and Cau Ba - Khanh Nam inter-commune roads; building bridges and roads in Suoi Thom village (Khanh Dong commune); building bridges and roads to the Chuoi stream production area (Khanh Phu and Song Cau communes); embankment to protect residential areas along Cau river (Song Cau commune); building water supply systems in Khanh Phu and Song Cau communes.
