The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have just held announcement ceremony of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in 2020. According to the results, Khanh Hoa increases 3 levels compared in 2019.

Specifically, Khanh Hoa province ranked 26/63 provinces and cities; ranked 6th in 12 provinces and cities in the Central Coast, reaching 63.98 points and up 3 levels compared to 2019 (in 2019 , Khanh Hoa ranked 29th with a total score of 65.37).
It is known that Report of PCI 2020 is a publication jointly developed and published by VCCI and USAID annually to evaluate and rank the business environment and economic administrative quality of provinces and cities in Vietnam (This is the 16th year in succession). The PCI report 2020 also analyzes in detail the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on Vietnamese business in order to provide the necessary input for government agencies and development support organizations in the construction, implement closely-realistic policies to effectively implement the "dual goal" of preventing and combating epidemics, recovery and develop socio-economic set out by the Government. Top 10 provinces and cities in the PCI 2020 index: Quang Ninh, Dong Thap, Long An, Binh Duong, Da Nang, Vinh Long, Hai Phong, Ben Tre, Hanoi, Bac Ninh.
