In the morning of October 29, the Basic Information Department, Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications of the province, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Education and Training organized the digital exhibition on "Spratly and Paracel Islands of Vietnam - Historical and legal evidence” at Nguyen Van Troi High School (Nha Trang City).
Students are watching the documents of maritime and sea sovereignty over the Spratly and Paracel Islands
At the exhibition, nearly 2,200 officials, teachers and students of Nguyen Van Troi High School watch the slide to describe materials and artifacts of sovereignty over sea and islands of Vietnam; Experience the application of information technology through the ipad, including the 3D digital model that allows people to interact directly to learn detail information about the the Spratly and Paracel Islands, the photographic software to take moment in the Spratly islands with animations, images using digital technology, game software related to the theme of seas and islands. In addition, the exhibition also displays about 40 documents and maps introducing historical and legal evidence to prove Vietnam's sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Islands.
On this occasion, students of Nguyen Van Troi High School exchanged and talked with experts about issues related to the sovereignty and policies of the Party and State for the two archipelagos of Spratly and Paracel; potentials and advantages of seas and islands in marine economic development; information related to climate change, sea level rising...
This is the first time the digital exhibition has been held in Khanh Hoa to provide information, historical and legal evidence on Vietnam's sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly Islands; raise the awareness and responsibility of staff, teachers and students in protecting the sovereignty over seas and islands…
