On January 29th, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Education and Training held meetings with more than 700 ethnic minority pupils and students on the occasion of spring of the Pig 2019. Mr. Le Thanh Quang – Member of Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary; Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended.

At the meeting, Mr. Le Thanh Quang praised and encouraged ethnic minority students to continue their efforts to overcome difficulties and strive for high achievement in learning and training. On the occasion of spring of the Pig 2019, Mr. Le Thanh Quang wished ethnic minority pupils, teachers and students a new year of health, happiness and success.
Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (standing in the middle) gave the awards of the Provincial People's Committee to the students who achieved good grades.
On this occasion, Mr. Le Thanh Quang had personal rewards for 273 ethnic minority students who achieved good and good academic results. Among them, 21 students of intermediate, college, and university excellent prizes of VND 4 million/ per one; 176 pupils are good with 2 million VND/per one, 76 students grade 12 are studying at high schools, the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational has achieved good results with 1 million VND/student. The provincial People's Committee commended and rewarded excellent university students with 600,000 VND/student, good 400,000 VND/student; Students of colleges and intermediate schools with good grades are rewarded with VND 400,000/student, get quite good is VND 300,000/student; 12thgrade students get a good grade 200,000 VND/student.

According to the provincial Department of Education and Training, the school year of 2018 - 2019, the whole province has 816 ethnic minority students studying at universities, colleges and professional secondary schools in the country. Including 103 university students (accounting for 12.6%); 96 college students (11.8%) and 617 high school students and vocational students (75.6%). Through the 2017-2018 school year, Khanh Hoa province has 197 ethnic minority students who achieved good and excellent academic results, accounting for 28.8%.
