On October 18th 2022, the working delegation of Khanh Hoa province led by Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council worked with Morbihan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Morbihan Province, French Republic). Attending the delegation was Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Welcoming and working with the delegation were Mr. Phillippe Rouault - Chairman of Morbihan Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Alain Le Brusq - Deputy Mayor in charge of Trade and Local Economy of Lorient City and some businesses of the Lorient city.
At the meeting, after briefly introducing the province's potentials, strengths and socio-economic development, the leaders of Khanh Hoa province suggested that the Morbihan Chamber of Commerce and Industry pay attention to promoting introduce potentials and strengths of Khanh Hoa province to French businesses to attract investment in the coming time such as: Clean energy industry, high-tech processing industry, manufacturing, precision mechanics, electronics; logistics services, seaport logistics services, introduction of secondary investments in industrial parks, industrial clusters, yacht manufacturing, services, etc.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu affirmed that Khanh Hoa provincial government will create all the most favorable conditions for French businesses and entrepreneurs to do business and invest in Khanh Hoa. On this occasion, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee cordially invited Mr. Cédric Ragani - Director of Lorient delegation and Mr. Philippe Rouault - Chairman of Morbihan Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry to attend the Conference on Announcement of Investment Planning and Promotion in Khanh Hoa province (expected to be held in September-2023); at the same time, support Khanh Hoa province to inform about this event to local businesses wishing to attend.
It is known that Lorient is the second largest port city of the French Republic, including 6 seaports: commercial port, fishing port, military port, yacht port, sailing port, domestic passenger port. The economy as well as the strength of the Lorient city has many similarities with Khanh Hoa province such as: Strong development in marine economy, seafood processing, supplying to many different regions in the country and for export; strongly develop shipbuilding industry including military ships, cruise ships, yachts, sailing boats, seaport services, logistics. Medical services at the hospitals of the Lorient city has many strengths, experience in intensive treatment of cancer diseases, orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation. In addition, the city is currently strongly developing clean energy industries, especially investment, operation and maintenance of offshore wind power systems.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province visited and worked with the University of Brittany Sud. Welcoming and working with the delegation were Ms. Morgane Christien - Deputy Mayor in charge of Children, education, student life, health protection and administrative management and Ms. Christine Chauvin - Vice President in charge of international relations by the leadership of the University of Brittany Sud. At the meeting, Khanh Hoa province proposed the University of Brittany Sud and Khanh Hoa University to study cooperation based on the strengths of each party in the fields of sustainable tourism; preserving, exploiting and developing tourism culture; circular economy, green economy.

Also on October 18th, the delegation visited the Museum of Indian Traders in Port-Louis; visited and worked with the European Academy of Arts in Brittany. Through the introduction of l'Appel Lorient, since 2013, Nha Trang College of Culture, Arts, and Tourism - the predecessor of Khanh Hoa University has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the European College of Fine Arts in Brittany and extended cooperation in June 2016 (period 2016 - 2018) with the category of training master's art teachers for Khanh Hoa University. In 2018, the two sides continued to sign a memorandum of cooperation for the period of 2018 - 2021 and continued to extend cooperation until now. Khanh Hoa University and the European Academy of Fine Arts in Brittany have been maintaining the exchange of lecturers, students and professional exchanges in the fields of fine arts and music.
