Accordingly, Khanh Hoa province's assessment of marine and island environmental pollution control activities in 2022 reached 92%, rated well. In which, there are 4/8 indicators reaching 100%, including: Leadership, direction and administration; review, systematize, monitor and inspect the implementation of legal documents; propagating, disseminating, educating and raising awareness of the law on environmental protection of sea and islands; inspect and examine the observance of the law on natural resources, environment and islands, and settle complaints and denunciations. The remaining criteria reached 75-92%, including: Investigating, statistics, classification and assessment of waste sources from the mainland, from activities at sea and islands, pollution of the marine environment and islands (reaching 75%); periodically monitor and assess the current status of water quality, sediment and biodiversity (reaching 92%); prevent, detect, treat and remedy pollution and degradation of the environment, sea and island ecosystems, improve and restore the environment, polluted marine and island ecosystems and recession (reaching 90%); responding to and overcoming marine environmental incidents (reaching 92%).
