According to the report of Khanh Hoa Department of Health, on March 18th the Provincial Hospital for Tropical Diseases received, quarantined and monitored 4 cases of Russians suspected of being infected with acute respiratory infections due to new strains of the Corona virus (Covid-19).

In these 4 new cases, two cases were on Aeroflot's SU 290 flight from Moscow to Hanoi on March 13th. This is one of the flights recently identified by the Ministry of Health to have passengers infected with Covid-19. The other two cases were transferred by Khanh Hoa General Hospital due to have the symptoms of fever and cough.
By the afternoon of March 18th, the whole province has isolated, tracked 21 cases of suspected Covid-19 infection. Specifically, the Provincial Hospital of Tropical Diseases is quarantining and monitoring 15 cases, of which: 8 cases have had negative test results; 7 cases were sampled and awaited test results (including 4 new cases). At the concentrated isolation area of the Center for Training and Improving of National Defense-Security Knowledge (Nha Trang City), 6 cases are also monitored.
Accumulated from January 9th to March 18th, Khanh Hoa health facilities have conducted quarantine, monitor 494 cases, taking samples 245 cases for test. In which, 1 positive case was cured and discharged; 244 cases had negative test results.
