At the conference, after listening to the report on the results in 2022, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged and praised the achievements of the diplomatic sector. At the same time, he suggested that by 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should continue to institutionalize, concretize, effectively deploy and apply creatively, flexibly and mainly the foreign policy of independence, self-reliance and diversification, multilateralization, good friend, reliable partner, responsible member of the international community; firmly grasp and properly assess the nature of the situation, the right subjects and partners, step up research, forecast, and give strategic advice to the Party and State on foreign affairs and international integration; preserving the peaceful environment and mobilizing maximum external resources for the development of the country; strengthen closer, synchronous and more effective coordination between the Party's foreign affairs, the State's diplomacy, the National Assembly's foreign affairs, the people's diplomacy, among ministries, departments, central agencies, and localities...
In 2022, domestic foreign affairs activities will be comprehensively promoted with nearly 70 high-level foreign affairs activities of Party and State leaders. Including 14 visits to 17 countries; attend 5 international multilateral conferences; hundreds of bilateral meetings with leaders and heads of countries around the world; welcomed 19 delegations of high-ranking leaders to visit Vietnam. External activities are all very substantive, increasingly in-depth, stable and sustainable.
In Khanh Hoa, in 2022, the province has carried out 4 business trips abroad (2 delegations in the plan, 2 delegations outside the plan), reaching the rate of 50%; welcomed 23 delegations of foreign representative agencies in Vietnam to visit and work in the province... The management of the delegation was carried out by Khanh Hoa province to ensure the principle of right person, right job, practicality and efficiency.
