* According to the Decision No. 08/2022/QD-TTg dated March 28, 2022, on implementation of housing rental assistance policy for employees. Employees who are currently working in industrial parks and export processing zones or key economic zones shall be entitled to a housing rental assistance of VND 500,000/person/month, provided that they fully meet the following conditions:
- Staying in a rental apartment from February 01, 2022, to June 30, 2022.
- Having an indefinite-term labor contract or a labor contract with a term of 1 month or more, that is signed and commenced before April 01, 2022.
- Being participating in compulsory social insurance in the month preceding the time the enterprise prepares the list of employees.
- In case the employee is not required to participate in compulsory social insurance as specified in Clause 4 Article 2 of Decree No. 115/2015/ND-CP dated November 11, 2015 of the Government elaborating a number of Articles of the Law on Social Insurance regarding compulsory social insurance, he/she must be included in the enterprise's payroll of the month preceding the month in which the enterprise makes the list of employees applying for rent support.
*Employees who are currently working for enterprises, cooperatives or business households with business registration in industrial parks and export processing zones or key economic zones shall be entitled to an assistance of VND 1,000,000/person/month, provided that they fully meet the following conditions:
- Staying in a rental apartment from April 01, 2022, to June 30, 2022;
- Having an indefinite-term labor contract or a labor contract with a term of 1 month or more, that is signed and commenced in the period from April 01, 2022, to June 30, 2022, except for labor contracts signed to continue employment.
- Being participating in compulsory social insurance in the month preceding the time the employer prepares the list of employees requesting for housing rental assistance.
In case the employee is not required to participate in compulsory social insurance as specified in Clause 4 Article 2 of Decree No. 115/2015/ND-CP or is a new employee with a concluded employment contract but is not included in the list of participants of compulsory social insurance of a social insurance agency, he/she must be included in the employer's payroll of the month preceding the month in which the employer makes the list of employees applying for rent support.
