In the afternoon of October 25th, at the Khanh Hoa Conference and Guest Center (No. 46 Tran Phu, Nha Trang City), the Ministry of Information and Communications in collaboration with the Provincial People's Committee held the Opening Ceremony of the photos and films exhibition in the ASEAN community in 2019. Mr. Hoang Vinh Bao - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications; Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai - Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ferry Junigwan Murdiansyah - First Secretary, Representative of Indonesian Embassy in Hanoi; Mr. Sok Rithy - First Secretary, Representative of Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Hanoi attended.
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
The exhibition displays about 300 photographic works and nearly 60 reportage films or documentaries which won or came in the final round of the International photos Festival and reportage or document film organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in recent years. With high art quality, the works displayed at the exhibition introduce to the general public of Vietnam in general and the people of Khanh Hoa in particular about the beauty of the country, people, issues related to environment protection, climate change, ethnic groups in the ASEAN community; contribute to giving viewers a close, authentic look and more understanding of customs, social life, problems that are arising in the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dac Tai affirmed that the exhibition is an opportunity to propagate, promote and enhance cooperation between Vietnam and the community of ASEAN countries. This is also an opportunity for people and ethnic groups in Khanh Hoa province to learn more about the values of culture, country, people and ethnic groups in the ASEAN community; raise awareness and sense of responsibility for environmental protection and climate change.

According to the program, the exhibition will end on October 28th. After finishing the exhibition, all photos, films and documentaries will be donated to Khanh Hoa provincial People's Committee by the Ministry of Information and Communications to continue propagating and promoting the ASEAN community in the near future.
