According to the adjustment decision, the total natural area of the whole Nha Trang city is 25,549 ha. Of which, agricultural land is 8,446.59 hectares; non-agricultural land 9,624.50 ha; unused land 7,477.91 ha; urban land 8,918.55 ha. The area of changing land use purpose from agriculture to non-agricultural is 2,056.46 ha; Non-agricultural land which is not building land converted to building land is 194.79 hectares. Unused land area to be used in the planning adjustment is 1,891.41 ha. The location and area of land areas that must be converted to use purposes shall be determined according to the land use planning adjustment map by 2020, the rate of 1/25,000, and the general explanation report on adjustment of use land planning to 2020 of the Nha Trang City.
In addition, the adjustment decision also divides 9 functional areas: areas specializing in rice cultivation; specialized in growing perennial industrial plants; Protection Forest; reserve forest; production forest; industry, industrial clusters; urban - commercial - service; tourist area; residential areas, trade villages, rural non-agricultural production; also approved the first year land use plan of Nha Trang city, in which has allocated the area of land types in the planning year; land acquisition plan; plans to change land use purposes; plans to put unused land into use.
Based on this decision, Nha Trang City People's Committee is responsible for publicizing the adjustment of land use planning and plans in accordance with the law on land.
