On July 30th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a dialogue with the Korean Embassy, associations and businesses in Vietnam. On the Korean side, there is Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh Wan. At Khanh Hoa point, Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee and representatives of departments and branches attend the dialogue.

At the dialogue, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that, after 30 years of establishment (1992 - 2022), the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea have been continuously consolidated and developed, the two sides become each other's top important partners; Many large Korean enterprises and corporations have invested, operated effectively and made positive contributions to the overall socio-economic development of Vietnam. At the same time, he said, after the direct dialogue with Korean businesses in September 2021, up to now, 25/29 proposals and recommendations made at the dialogue have been handled by ministries, branches and localities, especially recommendations related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, creating favorable conditions for businesses’ investment. In the spirit of always standing side by side, sharing, encouraging, listening, solving difficulties and problems, creating all advantages for foreign enterprises in general and Korean enterprises in particular, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that this dialogue will focus on open, democratic and exchanges to find practical and effective solutions, contributing to promoting investment-trade cooperation between the two countries. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also asked representatives of Korean associations and businesses to raise problems, difficulties, proposals, initiatives, visions and strategies to improve operational investment efficiency, production and business in Vietnam; at the same time, required ministries, branches, functional agencies and localities of Vietnam to focus on answering and offering specific and appropriate solutions.
Speaking at the dialogue, Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Park Noh Wan thanked Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh for spending time to meet and having dialogues with Korean businesses. The Ambassador affirmed that the dialogue in September 2021 of the Prime Minister gave strength to businesses that were facing many difficulties due to the epidemic at that time. Up to now, businesses have received practical support from the Government of Vietnam such as: Facilitating goods clearance, vaccinating workers, reopening cinemas...
In this dialogue program, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, representatives of relevant ministries, branches and localities listened to and acknowledged the difficulties, problems, recommendations and proposals of Korean enterprises related to the issues: Policy to support direct working capital of enterprises based on cash flow and collateral property; support the application of a global minimum income tax; accelerate the equitization of state-owned enterprises in the health sector; increase incentives for businesses operating in the health sector; expanding the national vaccination program and giving incentives to domestically produced vaccines; perfecting the mechanism for censorship of production of products from blood and blood source management...
