On April 12th 2023, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee had a meeting with the World Bank's (WB) delegation on supporting the implementation of the Sustainable Environment Project in Coastal Cities - Nha Trang Subproject. (CCSEP Nha Trang project). Mr. Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed and worked with the delegation.
At the meeting, after assessing the project implementation progress, the WB's delegation proposed Khanh Hoa province some specific progress of the project in the coming time: Submitting action plan to adjust notification of recover land in Ngoc Hiep resettlement area before April 20; approving the Project Operation Manual, updated before April 30; submit an updated independent monitoring report on resettlement before April 20; completely handle 6 complaints and petitions in the category of Rainwater Pumping Station and Wastewater Treatment Plant before April 30; appoint an independent monitoring consultant for resettlement before April 30; complete the work of compensation and site clearance for the project before May 15; updating and re-approving the resettlement action plan (RAP) according to the adjusted project investment scope after restructuring project, excluding canceled investment items such as road No 4, the road connecting the south embankment of Cai river to the ring road 2 of the city, the area of 5ha without land acquisition in the Ngoc Hiep Resettlement Area as well as the need to use the Resettlement Area of Dat Lanh, Hon Ro 2 before May 15th 2023.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam received the recommendations of the WB delegation and pledged that after this meeting, the provincial leaders will work again with relevant agencies, units and localities to have an official report on the implementation progress at the request of the WB mission.
