This is one of the important goals of plan to implement Government’s Resolution No. 50/NQ-CP dated May 20th 2021 and Action Plan No. 18-CTr/TU dated July 8th 2021 of the Khanh Hoa provincial Party Committee on the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party issued by the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the plan, striving to 2025, the average annual Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Khanh Hoa province will reach from 8 to 8.5%; commodity export turnover reaches 2 billion USD, per capita GRDP reaches 5,685 USD; domestic budget revenue is 2.2 times higher than in 2020; total social development investment capital in the five years from 2021 to 2025 will reach over 360 trillion Dong, with an average annual growth rate of over 12%; the average labor productivity growth rate in the period 2021 - 2025 will reach 7.7%; the number of poor households decreased a half compared to the first year of the term (according to the poverty standard for the period of 2021 - 2025), the unemployment rate of working-age workers in urban areas is less than 3.8%; the number of public schools meets national standards at 4 educational levels (kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school) reaches 65.57%; the urbanization rate reaches 65%; at least 80% of the communes meet the new rural standard, 40% of the communes meet the new enhanced rural standard, 10% of the communes meet the model new rural standard, there are no more communes under 15 criteria… Besides, priority sustainable development in terms of natural resources and environment; increase the forest coverage rate to over 46.5%; the rate of population using clean water reaches 70%, hygienic water reaches 100%; the percentage of industrial parks and industrial clusters in operation with centralized wastewater treatment systems meeting the national technical standards on environment is 100%; The rate of urban solid waste collection reaches 100%; the rate of treatment of medical waste (wastewater, solid waste) reaching the national technical standards on environment reaches 90%...
To accomplish the above goals, the plan has set out key groups of tasks and solutions such as: Flexible and effective implementation of the "dual goal" of both prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, recovery social economic development; effectively manage and use resources for sustainable development; renew the growth model, restructure the economy; synchronously develop economic sectors, create linkages between regions and areas; speed up the innovation and creation of application of science and technology; social and cultural development, implementation of social progress and justice; constantly improve the material and spiritual life of the people; effectively manage and use natural resources; strengthen environmental protection and respond to climate change; natural disaster prevention, combat and mitigation; consolidate and strengthen national defense, ensure national security, maintain social order and safety. In addition, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of foreign affairs and integration; complete and improve the quality of operations of the government apparatus at all levels; make a breakthrough in administrative reform…
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to chair and coordinate with provincial departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, and public non-business units under the Provincial People's Committee to implement plans. Periodically, before June 15th and December 15th every year, report the results to the Provincial People's Committee; promptly advise and handle arising problems to ensure the effective and quality implementation of the plan.
