This is the guiding opinion of Mr. Le Huu Hoang - Member of Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee at a meeting with relevant agencies and units on improving and raising the Provincial Competitiveness index (PCI), taking place on the afternoon of October 15th.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Huu Hoang suggested that in the coming time, departments, agencies, socio-political organizations and localities in the province should focus on implementing solutions to improve PCI such as: : Maximum transparency of social management information that people and businesses are allowed to access according to regulations; increase the proportion of business support tasks (compared to simple management tasks); strengthen communication channels to promote administrative reform activities, receive and process dossiers of agencies and units; creating more open and public communication channels between local leaders and the business community to promptly solve difficulties and problems of businesses, contributing to increasing friendly between management agencies with the business community. Focus on training, re-training and improve special subjects for management staff and officers carrying out business registration procedures; regularly check the progress of implementation of tasks on improving and raising the PCI index at their agencies and units so that there are plans to overcome and handle weaknesses in serving people and businesses timely and suitable with the reality situation... The provincial People's Committee's Standing Vice Chairman also said that in mid-November 2021, the Provincial People's Committee will coordinate with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hold a conference to offer solutions to improve the province's PCI.
It is known that in 2020, Khanh Hoa's PCI reached 63.98 points, ranked 26th out of 63 provinces and cities; increased 3 levels compared to 2019 (in 2019 ranked 29th with a total score of 65.37).
