Accordingly, the program has set specific goals: In the period of 2021 - 2025, at least 5 typical and key products will be guided to register for intellectual property protection; at least 50% of the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP Program) participates in clusters of industry linkages, value chains,... In which, priority is given to building, managing and developing trademarks for products of garlic, coconut (Van Ninh), green-skinned pomelo, purple sugarcane (Khanh Son); collective brand "Ninh Da Coconut", "Nha Trang Fish Sauce". By 2030, the number of registered applications for invention and utility solutions will increase by an average of 20% per year, industrial design applications will increase by 3% per year, at least 1 typical, key product which has potential to export is protected intellectual property rights abroad; have at least 10 typical and key products guided for registration of intellectual property protection; at least 70% of the OCOP Program participates in industry clusters, value chains, etc., giving priority to the construction and development of intellectual property for products such as: Binh Ba lobster; Dien Binh Star Apple; Cam Ranh sand Holothurian and scallop in Van Ninh…
To accomplish the goals for each of the above phases, the Program has proposed the following six groups of key solutions: Strengthening activities to create intellectual property, improving the quality of human resources in innovation and intellectual property rights; improve the efficiency of management, exploitation and development of intellectual property; promote registration of intellectual property protection at home and abroad; strengthen enforcement efficiency and fight against infringement of intellectual property rights; develop and improve the capacity of intermediary organizations and intellectual property rights; forming and creating a culture of intellectual property in society.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to assign and coordinate with other departments, agencies, organizations, enterprises and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in organizing the implementation of the Program. Organizing preliminary and final reviews of the implementation of the Program up to 2025, orient the next tasks of the Program to 2030 and periodically report to the Provincial People's Committee.
