According Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in 6 months of 2020, the whole provincial budget revenue reached more than 6,938 billion VND, as 40.2% of the estimate, decreased 26.7% compared to the same period last year.
Revenue from foreign-invested enterprises increased by 36.84% due to the construction of the BOT Van Phong Thermal Power Plant Project.
In particular, revenue from import and export activities was more than 1,293 billion Dong, as 99.5% of the estimate and decreased 5.4%; domestic revenue reached 5,645 billion Dong, as 35.3% of the estimate and decreased 30.3% over the same period in 2019. Specifically, there were 16/17 domestic revenues decreased compared to the same period last year, typically as: Revenue from central state-owned enterprises as 39.3% of the estimate, down 12.3%; revenue from local state-owned enterprises as 39.7% of the estimate, decreased 17.5%; non-state revenue was 28.7% of the estimate, decreased 39.8% over the same period last year ... Particularly, the revenue from foreign-invested enterprises increased by 36.84% (due to revenue from foreign contractors constructing BOT Van Phong Thermal Power Plant Project).
Also in the 6 months of 2020, the whole province spent more than 4,948 billion Dong on local state budget balancing, equaling 38.7 % of the estimate. In which, recurrent expenditure was over 3,038 billion Dong, as 42.1% of the estimate.

In the first 6 months of 2019, Khanh Hoa province collected state budget more than 9,468 billion Dong, as 56.4% of the estimate, as 71% compared to the same period of 2018. In which, revenue from import and export activities reached nearly 1,367 billion Dong, as 121% of the estimate and as 23.9% compared to the same period in 2018; domestic revenue was more than 8,101 billion Dong, as 51.7% of the estimate, as 106.4% over the same period in 2018.
