In May 2018, the industrial production index (IIP) of Khanh Hoa province increased by 7.6% over the same period last year. In the first five months of 2018, the IIP of the province increased 6.6% over the same period in 2017.

Of which, the manufacturing and processing industry increased by 8.5%; water supply, waste management and treatment increased 5.8%. Particularly the mining industry decreased by 5.8%; Manufacturing, distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam decreased 11.4%.
Some products have higher production index over the same period such as: Nest beverage, RE sugar, commercial electricity... The products with decreased production index are: frozen tuna, production electricity, wooden cabinet, natural fibers...
