On August 4th 2018, at Nha Trang city, nearly 200 delegates participated in the international conference "Khanh Hoa Tourism in National destination Development Strategy". At the workshop, delegates were representatives of domestic and foreign agencies, enterprises, researchers, tourism consultants discussed issues related to environmental improvement and quality to exploit maximize tourism potential in Khanh Hoa province; Particularly as: Study on the international tourists market segment, especially tourism needs of each age group and income; redefining the market of tourists and tourism products, in which priority products of the sea and islands attract tourists tastes; building a communication strategy, promoting the destination of Khanh Hoa in association with the application of advances in the 4th technology revolution; To focus on propagandizing and setting up communication channels for tourism promotion of the province…
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Tran Son Hai affirmed that in the past years, the Khanh Hoa tourism industry always achieves high growth. However, there are still many limitations such as: Tourism products are not diversified; service quality does not meeting the increasing demand of tourists; the promotion of tourism is still limited; Tourism human resources are both lacking in quantity and weak in quality ... So, Mr. Tran Son Hai suggested, in the next time, the provincial Tourism Industry chaired with industries, levels research, and give advisors Provincial Party Committee, The People's Council and People's Committee to consider and decide the orientation issues of the tourism strategy; Establishing a number of mechanisms and policies as well as feasible solutions to restructure the tourism industry in order to contribute to affirming Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism brand on the map of Vietnam and international tourism.
