On December 19th, Viet Nam Red Cross Society in collaboration with the Khanh Hoa provincial Red Cross Association organized a conference to deploy and train the implementation process of the Emergency Response Project to the people affected by the storm No. 12.

Emergency Response Project was sponsored by The U.S Agency for International Development. According to the plan, the project will be implemented from now to April 12th 2018 in the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai. Total value of the project is over 5.6 billion Dong. In Khanh Hoa, the project will provide direct cash to 135 households most severely damaged by typhoon No. 12 in Dien Xuan, Dien Lam (Dien Khanh) and Ninh Phung, Ninh Son (Ninh Hoa town) to repair the house, living expenses (each household 15 million Dong). The total value of sponsor for Khanh Hoa is over 2 billion Dong.
The project also train on emergency process for 40 cadres in hamlets, communes who get beneficiaries of Khanh Hoa province, in which having detailed guidance on how to assess the damage of the people after the storm, guide the project supervision ... to identify the right beneficiaries, to ensure fairness and transparency among the affected households.
